Sandy’s was founded in 1956 in Dallas, Texas, by Earl Boyse as a men’s dress shoe store. His son, Randy Boyse, began working in the shop during high school and eventually took over the family business.

When a nearby dance studio asked Randy to carry dance shoes for their students, he saw an opportunity to expand. Although securing dance brands proved challenging due to an existing dance store in the same center, Randy’s persistence paid off—Capezio became the first brand to partner with him, and demand quickly grew.

By 2000, Sandy’s had evolved into a full-service dancewear store. Today, we are proud to operate two thriving locations and continue serving dancers with the same dedication and personal service that have defined us for decades.
